A progression-focused surf coaching trip in the Northern Mentawai designed to help high-intermediate and advanced surfers improve technique, wave reading and confidence in reef breaks.
What’s included
11 nights of accommodation (check-in on 1 June, check-out on 12 June)
Room with a large single or double bed, mosquito net, fan, and fresh towels

Two boat trips per day with a local captain and experienced surf guide

Daily in-water surf coaching and surf video analysis sessions
A filmer will be on the trip to capture all your waves throughout your stay
Before the trip, you'll train with the Level Up Training App to physically prepare for this Mentawai surf experience
After the trip, you'll receive all your surf footage along with a final video analysis highlighting the key areas to keep working on and continue progressing after the coaching trip

Practical
On 31 May, we stay one night in a hotel in Padang, West Sumatra, close to the ferry terminal
On 1 June at 7:00 AM, we take the ferry from Padang to Siberut. Upon arrival, our local captain will pick us up and transfer us by boat to our surf camp on Palau Masokut
On 12 June, our captain will take us back to the ferry terminal in Siberut for the return ferry to Padang
We strongly recommend staying one additional night in Padang on 12 June and booking your return flight for 13 June. Ferry schedules can be affected by weather and sea conditions, so booking a flight on the same day as your return ferry is not advised
This trip is for high-intermediate to advanced surfers only
Only 6 surfers can attend this trip
Surfboard rental options are available in Padang, but we recommend bringing your own boards if possible
There are no surf shops, supermarkets, or general stores in the Mentawai Islands, so please bring everything you need for the duration of the trip
We recommend traveling light with only a board bag and a travel backpack

Surfboards and surf equipment are not included
Accommodation, meals, drinks, and any other personal expenses in Padang before and after the trip
Ferry tickets between Padang and Siberut, including board bag transport (approximately IDR 2,000,000 / €100 total)
Mentawai Surf Tax: IDR 2,000,000 (approximately €100), payable upon arrival
